
About Rob
Rob McIntosh is a recognized writer of multiple screenplays, including A Boy Named David and My Ways.
Before writing movies for entertainment, Rob spent four years in the US Coast Guard, assigned to a small boat station in Brookings, Oregon where he served on a crew that conducted hundreds of search and rescue operations in unforgiving seas and enforced marine laws as a law enforcement crewman. He also attended Medic School in Petaluma, CA. Moving from pursuit boats to cruisers, Rob built a twenty-seven year career in the California Highway Patrol. As a Sergeant, he led his team through high adrenaline pursuits, bare knuckle brawls, and countless other scenarios. . . great preparation for action-adventure themes exploring power, choice, and family affairs incorporating military and public safety personnel who have to make life and death decisions. Brought up in Los Angeles, he lives near Knoxville, Tennessee.
